The Franklin Election.
Nooo. Tho returns from Franklin are complete, except Waiuku and Maukau, and shew the following results : — Lusk (Provincial Undertaker), 347 ; Hamliix, 349 ; Woodward, 261 ; Goodfollow, 233 j May, 197 ; the other two returns, it ie supposed, must increase H.unlin and Lusk's majority.
Rodney. Mr Slieehan is returned for Rodney by a majority of 1 8. Grahamstown, 7.30pm. A telegram has been received that the Government will spend £1,000 on roads to keep the miners fro en starving.
DUNEDIX. De Latour, a Provincialist, is elected for Mount Ida.
Wellington. Tbo Lava is still unancceaaful in dra^ giag for the cable.
