PRELIMINARY PROSPECTUS or the HAMILTON PUBLIC HALL COMPANY.
It is proposed o establish a Company under the above titl«, for the purpose of erecting a tuitjjblo Public Hall in Hamilton. That the waut of such a building is rmicn felt ' "is indisputable. The people are at present entirely dependent for accommodation upon ths courtesy of the Officer Commanding the district, or of tho Resident Magistrate, for tho time being, of Waikato. The present undertaking proposes to remedy this deficiency by providing a plaoo whore all classes and seotionß of the community can meet for public purposes. , The Government hare been applied to for a •ite for the pioposed hall, and there is little doubt that tho request will be acoeded to. The cap.tal will consist of 500 shares, of £1 each, payable as follows :—ss: — 5s upon application, and 5s each succeeding month. As soon as a sufficient number of shares have been applied for, a meeting of the shareholders will be convened for the purpose of electing officers and provisonal directors, deciding upon the plan of the building, snd other nencasary preliminary matters. Applications for bharcs can be made to Mr Kkj.nedy Hill, Victoria street, Hamilton. N'"OVV r PUBLi:SHED AND ON SALE AT THE WAIKATO TIMES OFFICE.
