SECTION :121 (1) «of "Tko Stamp Act, 1875," iprovidet 'that every poraon taking possession of or reoeiving or paying any moneys belonging to, or acoruing from, tike property (realty as well ew personality) of »ny (person dying on and after list January next, without having firet filed the required statement and paid the duties assessed thereon, shall forfeit a sum not exceeding £500. Whether probate or lettors of administration aro granted by any Court or not, a statement of all property must b» filed and duties puid before tho paoperty or any part thereof of any deoeased purson is in any manner dealt with. On payment of the proper duties, the probate or letters received from tho Court, or the statement of property in othef cates, will be stamped and deliverod to the person entitled thereto.
