Cattle and Shrei*. — At Remuera, on Thursday, dairy cows were brought forward in limited numbers only. Slore cattla wero alio scarce, and »old freely at late Tallies. A tout the usual number of fat cittlo were guarded, and most of them were of eery good quality. 135 heud wore sold at pices fully up to lasr, wek's quotation 2io store shepp otfeied. F>it sheep m average supply-, and runt vnh a dull sac. Lamba were scarce, and sold readily at high figures. Price* obtnincd were — Pairv cow«, at calving, £5 10< to £8 12.i 61 ; yearling, £2 10b ; three-year-old Ftoers, £5 10h to £t ea.-h ; fut cattle, 30i to 36s tho 1001b ; fat isheep, 2U to 3J the 1b ; lamb*, 12a to Ibs eaoh.
