•Sir, — After the •election of th,e Trastee3 for the Cambridge North Township at th,o .annual meeting, the trustees called for tender* for the collection of the rates.. Two Coders were sent to •the Board, of 'the two one of course was accepted. The person , whose tender was •accepted has Jefb .the district. The Board then Tvithcut calling fresh tenders for-tyie said -oolleetion of -their rates 'Appointed ft Mr Smith as 'their collector, I beg to ask you if it is fair that such an. appointment should be made without 'tendert being called for.
