PRELIMINARY PROSPECTUS OF TH-B HAMILTON PUBLIC HALL COMPANY. It i» proposed "to establish a 'Company Tinder the above litle, for the purpose of erecting a suitable Public Hall in Hamilton. That the waut of such a building is much felt is indisputable. The people are at present entirely dependent for accommodation upQri the 'courtesy *of the Officer Commanding the district, or of the Resident Mngistrate, for file time being, of Waikato. Q?he present xradertakmg proposes to comedy t'lia deficiency by providing a place where all classes and sections of the community can meet for public purposes. The Government have been apphed to for a site for the proposed hall and there is little doubt that the" request will be accede*! to. The cipital will consist of 500 shares, of £1 each, payable as follows :—ss: — 5s upon application, and 5s each sueceedirig month. As soon as a sufficient number of shares have been applied for, a meeting of the shareholders will be convened for the purpose of electing officers and provisional^ directors, deciding upon-the plan of the » building, and other necessary preliminary matters.
