Alexandra, Saturday, 3,50 p.m. The river has risen 30 feet. It is the highest flood ever known by fche natives. The bridge, and Messrs Hill's and Duffy's grain stores arc c.irried avray. The Company's store still stands, although nearly covered. The river is still rising. The natives are all flooded out and their crops arc destroyed.

Cambridge, Saturday. Beside the loss of the bridge, the Company's store and the one belonging to Mr. Nealo are completely destroyed. Mr Neale estimates his loss at £100. Communication is stopped between Cambridge and Taotaoroa. Damage done to main road, near Cambridge, to the extent of £50.

Alexandra, Saturday. The ferry house and Company's two stores at Te Rore curried away.
