•ORKLIMINAKY PROSPECTUS JL OP THB HAMII^TOK PUBLIC HALL COMPANY. It !i proposed to establish a Company under the above title, for the put- po«e of erecting a suitable Bufclio Hail in Hamilton, That the waut of such a building is muoh feltis indisputable. The people are at present mitirelv dependent fer accommodation np6n the courtesy of the Officer Cdmrnandrng tbe district, or of the Resident Magistrate, {or the time being, of Waikate. The present tindertaking proposes to remedy this deficiency by providing a place where all classes aad section* of the community can meet for public purposes. The Government have been oppiied *o for a site for the proposed h*il, and fcbtre is little doubt that the request will be acceded to. The capital will consist of -600 thares, of £1 each, payable as follows : — 5s upon application, and 5s each succeeding month. As soon as a sufficient number of shares have been applied for, a meeting of the shareholders will be convened for tbe purposex>f electing officers anS provisional directors, deciding ug>on the plan of the building, and other necessary preliminary matters.
