Mb. Edttor,- Will you permit me to correct a slight mistake an 3 our report of what I -aid at Alexandra, correspondent madto me to Bay that ' Ev«ry man, woman; an 1 child are laxed £70 per -head." What I said was that t.h tf funded aud the unfunded dei»ts of the colony were equal to a debt of £70 per head on all Europeans in the colony, the in crest on which debts are nearly a million per annum, which flows a way to the .foreign creditor, — I am, &<:., S.
