The attention of breeders is particularly drawn to this horse's pedigree, hia eire being the celebrated Prince Charlie, a hdrse that was never •beaten, no matter how good the company.

Babov ot Gotj?e — (of the pure Clydesdale breed)— *is a rioh bay. He lias great strength of bone, beautiful symmetry, superior action, is perfectly quiefc, and is a good worker. He was bred by! those wellknown breeders, Messrs, W and J MacDooald, of Halcombe, Melbourne. Baron of Clyde was only exhibited once a*3 a yearling, viz., at the National Show, Kyneton, where he gained first prize. As a two ye&r old, he gnined fiist prize at Castlemaine, tirat at Kyneton, second at Smeaton, first at Daylesford, and second at Bacchus Marsh, As a three year old he gained prize rft Bendigo, second at Smeaton, f iret at KyDeton.and first at Dalesfoid, Sire Old Prince Charley, imported ; Bam, Blossom. Prince Charlie was "exhibited seven times before leaving Scotland for Victoria, and gained seven first (prizes, including the Highland Agricultural Society's Show at Glsgow, iv 1859, competing against thiriy others. In Victoria, Prince Charlie gained a great number of prizes, including the Port Philip Farmer's Challenge Cup, value LBO, in 3859, IS6O, and 18G2 ; grandeire, Farmer. Blossom, dam of Baron of Clydo, by Lothian Tarn, imported, "was exhibited live times, and gained four first prizes and one second prize; fiiet prife at Castlemaine, second at Sin eat on fil-st at Stneaton the 'following year, and two nrit prizes at Daylesford. t Terms, £4 each mare, two or more marcs as rper agreement.
