NGARUAWAHIA CRICKET CLUB. (From our own Correspondent.)'
A meitixq of this Club was held at the Royal Mail Hotel, on Saturday evening, : very few of the members attended. John S Ross, Esq, was called to the chair. The Secretary read the report for the past year also the balance sheet which shewed that a round sum of money was still in hand, he also stattkj that the Club had played . two matches during the year, riaotely r ■ Hamilton and E.V.M. but hoped that^by more attention to practice, the club would .this year be able to retrieve its lost laurels. - *|'he following gentlemen were then elected ti Committee for the current year': Messrs G Edgecumbe, . J^aing, F Edgecum.be, H H Taylor and W A Cromjne (Secretary and Treasurer.) A vote of thanks to v the chaiifiuan concluded the business.
