REVIEW.
"Supernatural Religion: An enquiry into : sc Reality of Dhine Revelation " 8 vo Milbourne, (Jconje Robertson, 187 5. . We have been favored by Messrs Lanpbridge and Silver, Booksellers and Publishers, Honilton, with a persual of this extraordinary work u published " Bass the unknown but talented author, in his pre face, "as a contribution towards the establiahmenof truth in th« minds of others who are seeking-f&r it." The book under notice proceeds from a ib^g of ability, a Scholar, and a reason p r. He writes like an earnest seeker after truth, looking around at all particulars pertaining to hi 9 enquires, and following up every question to its proper tnd. Along with a wide and minute scholarship, the writer shows great acuteness. He h«s the critical faculty in union with a calm spirit. Reverent withal, the volume bespeaks the serfous notice of every one (and^V'ho is not) concerned about the records of religion. The " Westminster Review " referring to this publi cation says " Whenever the history of Christian theology m the nineteenth century shall be written, a pUce of honor will belong to the anonymous author of ' Supernatural Religion.'
