THE CELEBRATED IMPORTED CLYDESDALE HORSE •'BARON OF CLYDE," Will travel in the Waikato this season. Hamilton Tuesday nights Ohaupo Wednesday nighta Cambridge Bemuindev of week The attention of breeders is particularly drawn to this horse's pedigree, his sire being the celebrated Prince Oharlie, a horse that was never " beaten, no matter how good the company. Babon op Clyde — (of the pure Clydesdale breed)— is a rich bay. He has great strong) hof bone, beautiful symmetry, superior action, is perfectly quiet, and is a good worker. He was bred by those wellknown bree lers, Messrs. W and J Ma^Donald, of Haleombo, Melbourne, Baron of Clyde was only pxhibited once as a yearling, viz., at the National Show, Kyneton, where he gained first prize. As a two year old, he gtiued first prize at Castlemaine, first at Kyneton, second at Smeaton, fiist at Daylesford, and second at Bacchus Marsh, As a three year old he gained first prize at Bendigo, second at Smeaton, firit at Kyneton, and first at Dalesford, Sire Old Prince Charley, imported; Dam, Blossom. Prince Charlie was eihibited seven times before leaving Scotland for Victoria, and gained seven first prizes, including the Highland Agricultural Society's Show at Gl sgow, iv 1839, competing agaiDst thirl y otheis. In Victoua, Prince Chftil'e pained a great number of prizes, including the Poit Philip Farmer's Challenge Cup, value LBO, in J 859, IS6O, and 1862 ; grandsire, Faimer. Blosiom, dam of Baron of Clyde, by Lothian Tnra, imported, was exhibited five times, and gained four first prizes and one Becond prize; first prise at Castlemaine, second at Smeaton, first at Smeaton the following year, and two first prizes at Davleiford. Prince Arthur will stand at Ohaupo on Monday; Cambridge on Tuesday ; Hamilton on Wednesday and Thursday ; Ngaruawahia on Friday ; and Hamilton on Saturday. Terms — £5 each mare ; Groom-age 5s each. All payments by Isi January, 1876. For further particulars apply to tht undersigned. The undersigned would remark that Prince Arthur has established a reputation for producing heavy draft stock, equal to the best ever bred in thia colony, and three of his stock are now serving as Heary Draught Sires in the Auckland District, where tbe Prince Arthur served successfully for several years.
