Mr Buckland's sale at Ohaupo on Tuesday «u largely attended, and good prices were realised. The stock offered was fiom the herds of Messrs Cox, Hammond, Firth, and others. Young stock especially was in good demand, and brought excellent prices. A few sheep oflered also sold welL Amongst the horse stock was the imported draught en' ire " Royal Charlie," which having very bad feet was sold for £30. Mr Buckland announced At the close of the auction that he would told another large sale in the course of a few weeks. The entire horses Baron of Clyde and Benathalath were exhibited during the sale. The' former was in splendid condition for the season. He is of great size, but without clumsiness. For producing heavy draught stock it would be difficult to find a better sire. Benathalath was also in fine order. This splendid animal is bo well known in the district that it is unnecessary to notice him at length.
