!Thb following is a copy of the letter Bent to Capt. Runciman, announcing the result of the meeting at Te Awamutu:— ToOapt. Bunciman, Dear Sir,— l nowforward you, aa you requested, the result* of the 0 W A Society held yesterday. The meeting was of opinion that a public meeting at Ohaupo would be productive of no good jtesult, but that if you would have a meeting and appoint delegates to meet delegates from this side, some .arrangements satisfactory to all anight be made, and this Society will agree to be bound by theirdecwion. WUI you let me know if this will meet the views of your neighbours, also the time you would propose for meeting.— I am, yours truly, J H Mandeno, T<? Awamutu, Oct. 6th 1875.
