At the SaprertJd Coutt James £t»nnett, far an indecent assault at the Thames, was sentenced to six months. The Court occupied all to-day over the arson case against the wife of Conley, waterman, and a verdict of " Not Guilty" was recorded. At the Pakuranga Hunt Club Stranger (Auckland), 1 ; Kate, 2; Gameboy, 3. Faugaballagh, Daniel O'Rorke. Kate and Stranger w<*re the only ones that did not baulk. They took the hurdles jjplpndidly. Kate was winning, hard pres^e I by Stranger, when she fell after taking the last hurdle, giving Stranger the race.
