THE WALKING MATCH.
We understand that Mr Danvers will commence his great feat of walking 113 miles ia 48 hoars, while carrying a weight of 5G lbs, on Thursday night, either at 8 or 12 o'clock. The site selected is the cricket ground. Mr D.mvers haa beeu ia hard trrtiniug for some time past, and as he formerly accomplished the feat twice without auy very serious difficulty, he is confident of success on this ocoision. Articles have been signed, and all the preliminaries have been arranged.
