The firat meetirg of ratepayers of the Toatoaroa Highway Diatriet was held at the Masonic Hote>, Cambridge, on Sa'urdajj September 4rh, Mr J. *" Forrest in the Chair. The advertisement »n<J correspondence calling the meeting were read. ) Only ten ratepayers were fwesent at tie time advertised.
