Auckland, Fiiday evening. An extraordinary case of poisoning with goat's milk, lias occurred at Mount Eden. The goat was quite well on Wednesday, but on Thursday morning a lump, the size of a pea, appeared on the teat. The wile and four children, who partook of the milk, were seized with violent vomiting ; one child died, and another is dangerously ill. The goat's udder at one side is now much swollen, and the animal ill. The owner believes the goat was poisoned, but the doctors do not consider this proved. — The Turanaki has arrived from the south.
