The difficulty between the two Houses over the Land Bill has resulted in a conference — The attention of tho Assembly has been called to the overloading of the steamer 'Easby* and other vessels leaving port. The Government promised that attention should be given to the matter. — A fire has occurred at' Messrs Lane, Chester, and Co.'d, George-street. The insurance losses are £10,000. The building adjoining is damaged.
