New Advertisements— continued.

"ORADSIUW'S GUIDE TO NEW ZEALAND The extension of Rail way communication, the consequent exceedingly rapid increase in the passenger traffic throughout the colony of New Zealand, untl the paucity of information of a reliable character — now obtainable of tho arrivals and depart ur s of the various trains, coaches, mail and other steamers, and all methods of travel, nnder fcho publication of some trustworthy and authentic record of reference an absolute necessity. The subscribers propose to issue to the public a monthly " GUIDE," similar — as fur as circumstances will permit — to the welKknoww " Bradshaw " of the mother-conntry, containing lime Tables, compiled with every possible regard to accuracy, and from information obtained from authentic souroes only, of all Railways, Coaches, Steamers, &c., &f. The projected publication will also contain full information regarding Postal and Telegraphic arrangements, General, Provincial, and Municipal Governments ; Public Institutions, Banks, Insurance Companies, complete Des-' ciiptive Itmeraiy, and, in short, will be made as replete with generul and useful information as possible. The want of a medium of ADVERTISING FOR THE WHOLE COLONY has long been felt by all commercial classes. The publication now projected will, it is confidenty anticipated, fully fil 1 that want, as it will bo the first aim of the subscribers to produce the work at a prico which must ensure its being accessible to the whole community. It is calculated that an issue of some thousands per month may bo relied upon, which will be distributed thioughout the entire colony. Tho advantages thus oilered to advertisers must therofore bo at once apparent. In submitting this Prospectus to the Public of New Zealand, tho subscribers beg to give the assurance that every effort will be n\ade to carry it out in it? integrity, and render it proportionately as recognised an institution in New Zealand as "Bradshaws Guide " is in England. Terms of Subscription and for Adveitising may be ascer tamed from the various amenta, whose names will shortly be published in the local newspapers. DAI GLIESH & REID.
