THE PENITENT'S RETURN.
To the Editor of the Waikato Tihes. Sir,— Having seen a letter in the ''Weekly News" of date May 29 th, respecting the late choir at Alexandra, in which it states that the choir were never asked to go back, I cMrv.flasy ccjntracjict statement, as I was asked gb btfek again. It states that the^ whole choir resigned, i nfluenced by one or two" evil-minded persons. 'That also is false, as I can distinctly assert that I was not influenced by any one, and I would ' Uke to know those evil-minded persons, as I think it would be a satisfaction to the whole community. The letter concludes by giving them (the choir), a nattering invitation to return from the cave of Adullam with contrite spirit, which t am happy to say, some of thfm did. It really was a touching sight, and niust have beon very gratifying to our respected clergyman to see them returning, once more like lost sheep to the fold. In conclusion, I would advise the penitents to be careful of the snares and temptations of this wfefe^d. Vorld, and not be influenced by evil-minde^evsons-any 'ioreWl *V>&c, x I*-N©n-Pen&eniv Alexander, 15th June, 1875.
