" HONOR TO WHOM HONOR IS DUE." To the Editor of the Waikato Times
Siß,-^l^l)^erve in> yb^ Wne of Tuesday last a paragraph copied frotn\ the "^Southern Cross " referring to\the new literary and business management of the Waikato Times. As I presume the alteration involves the termination by Mr Holloway of his connection with the Times, I would suggest that steps should be taken to publicly recognise insome fitting manner the valuable services rendered by the late editor of the Times to the district during his conduct of the newspaper at iNgaruawahia aud Hamilton. Every settler in the Waikato who has been 'Jta&uglri n^to contact with Mr Hollows will, I feetau^S(>ear>^e\^n^uKj;o h* 8 gentle«aa(iky ? courtesy, hfl^aoS^y, a^a^Ws^al for the welfare and advancement of the 1 district. ""If any properly qualified persod * will but take the matter in hand, 1 feel convinced that the settlers will heartily join in some graceful and substantial recognition of tfy& late editor's public services, and his private worth. 4 I am, &c, Old Skttlbr.
