A TEN THOUSAND DOLLAR DAUGHTER.

On a certain day, on a Pennsylvania railroad, a belle of a thriving Pennsylvania town, the daughter of a wealthy lumber merchant, vcw travelling in the same car with a shrewd old ckizen of her native town, and an agreeable gentleman from the "RJjJt, who tells the story. Now, without a tree, covered with stumps, the land is scarcely worth a continental.
