RANGIAOHIA CHURCH RESTORATION.

A well attended meeting was held at the Rangiaohia Church, immediately after the evening service. The right rev Dr Cowie, Bishop of Auckland, presided. A subscription list was started, beaded by a liberal donation of £1 0 from his lordship, and nearly <£40 was promised by those attending the meeting. It was resolved to proceed at once with the substantial repair of the church, and for this purpose a working committee was appointed, consistiug of Messrs, Storey, Ramsay, Wetherill, R. Cunningham and Bockett, the last being appointed secretary and treasurer.- A meeting was called for Wednesday next, to decide what shall be done, so that the church repairs may be finished if possible before the winter rains set in.
