The Company are not responsible for loss of, or damage done to, cargo or stock, wising from fire, floods, tempests, the act of God, and the Queen s enemies ; or from any accidents of the seas, rivers, roadsteads, and -navigation, collision, snagging, boilers, steam or machinery, or for delay or detention of any description. Storage will be charged on all goods not taken delivery of within twenty -four hours after arrival of steamer, at the rate oa one half-penny per foot per day. Loose hay taken only at owner's risk. Freight, 25s pet ton weight Kerosene taken only at owner's risk. Powder and Ammunition charged double raiM. The Company will not be responsible for packages placed on the steamer without shipping notes, printed fortus of which can be had at the Company's office, Ngaruawahi*.

In bulk, from 4 tons and upwards, 20s per ton, to be discharged by consignee ; in kits, 27s per ton, discharged by Company.
