The Company are not responsible for loss of, or damage done to, cargo or stock, wising from fire, floods, tempests, the act of God, and the Queen s enemies ; or from any accidents of the seas, rivers, roadsteads, and -navigation, collision, snagging, boilers, steam or machinery, or for delay or detention of any description. Storage will be charged on all goods not taken delivery of within twenty -four hours after arrival of steamer, at the rate oa one half-penny per foot per day. Loose hay taken only at owner's risk.
