Owing to the inclemency of the weather on New Year's Day, the sports were adjourned till the .econd. Although it was gloomy all day, there was '10 decided downpour of rain. There were about 400 persons present on the ground during the day, 1 md everything passed off satisfactorily. Putting the 3tone— Kelly 1. 150 yarJa boys' race, under fifteen years— Thomas 1 ; \CcClennan 2 ; MoKearney 3. 1 mile race— Griuies 1 ; OBrien 2.
