Ihe decision of the Stewards shall in all cases be final —no entries received except on this condition. Only subscribers of not less than to the funds can enter horses for any race. No one will be allowed to compete for the athletic sports who has not subsciibed 2a 6d to the funds. Entries for the handicap foot races (mile, half mile, hurdle race, and "250 yards) must be made to the Secretary, at the Delta Hotel, on or before Saturday, the 19th of December. No protest will be received unless the sum of 10s for horse races and 5s for athletic sports be lodged with it, which money will be forfeited in case the protest is not allowed. Handicappers— Messrs Weatherill and Foster. The races are open to all horses the bona fide property of settlers residing in tho Waikato.
