THE Thoroughbred Horse "DERBY" will stand this season as lollows :— At Mr Hakper's on Moudays ; at Ohaupo, on Tuesdays and Thursdays ; and will pa.s through Cambridge homeward on Fridays. He will be at home on Saturdays and AJ ondays. " Derby " is by Ferryman out of Chrysolite, by Stockwell, out of Juliet, by Touchstone, out of Lancashire Witch, by Tomboy Ferryman, by Fisherman, out of Rose do Floicnce, by Flying Dutchman, out of Boarding School Miss : Juliet is the* Mother of Charon and Lamplighter, the winners for the last two seasons of all tbe two and three year stakes in Victoria and Sydney, with tbe exception of Handicaps. " Derby " only started once for the Fiemington Stakes I*l January, 1869, when he fell (stopping his racing career,) w hilo running well up with the leading horse. He is a handsome dark brown horso, rising 8 yeais old, and stand* 15 hands 2] inches high. Good paddocks fo: mares from a distance, 2s per week, with every care and attention, but no responsibility. Terms:— Four Guineas each mare, Gioomagoss; three (or moie) mares as per agreoment.
