THE Thoroughbred Horse "DERBY" will Btand this season as lollows : — At Mb Hakpek's on Tuesdays ; at Ohaupo, on Wednesdays and Thursdays ; and will pass through Cambridge homeward on Fridays. He will be at home on Saturdays and Mondays. " Derby " is by Ferryman out of Chi-ysolite, by Stockwell, out of Juliet,, by Touchstone, out of Lancashire Witch, by Tomboy Ferryman, by Fisherman, out of Rose de Florence, by Flying Dutchman, out of Boarding School Miss : Juliet is the Mother of Charon and Lamplighter, the winners for the last two seasons of all the two and three year stakes in Victoria and Sydney, with the exception of Handicaps. " Derby " only started onco for tbc Fiomington Stake* 1«t January, 1869, when ho fell (stopping his racing career,) while running well up with the leading horse. He is a handsome dark brown horse, riling 8 years old, and stands 15 hands 2i inches high. Goed paddocks for mares from a distance, 2s per week, with every care and attention, but no responsibility. Terms : — Four Guineas each mare, Groomage 5a j three (or more) mares as per agreement. Derby h*s proved himself a sure foal getter.
