(To tlic Editor of the Waikato Times.) Sir, — A great many complaints are made with l-eference to the class of immigrants sent to the Waikato. When mentioning the subject to Auckland people I was informed that we could not expect a better stamp, as they were all well culled before being selected for the country districts, and judging from the recent importations, I should consider the culling has been most thorough. I trust that in future the immigrants selected for the country will be dispatched immediately upon the arrival of the ship, so that we may have a chance of getting an equal share of any useful labor that may be available. — I am, &c, Settler. Alexandra, Oct 13, 1874.
