At the Supreme Court to-day, the case of shooting, sit tho Royal George Hotel, was postponed till next criminal sessions. The Court afterwards adjourned till Monday, when the Fraser libel case will be taken. Threo new arrivals per Rooparell were sentenced to one year's imprisonment, at the Police Court, for eight thefts committed within two days. Thomas Morris for alleged fm-gery of an order for 235, at Mahurangi, and William Morehouse for embezzlemont of £10 which he had collected at Grahamstown for his employer, were both committed for trial. Napier telegrams announce tho dismasting of the schooner Emu on the East Of.'sfc; she hud to put back into Napier.
