THE Thoroughbred Horse "DERBY" will stand this season as follows : — At Hit Hakpee's on Tuesdays ; at Ohaupo, on Wednesdays aud Thursdays ' T and will pass through Cambridge homeward ou Fridays. Be will be at home on Saturdays and Mondays. " Derby " is by Ferryman out of Chrysolite, by StockweH, out of Juliet, by Touchstone, out of Lancashire Witch, by Tomboy Ferryman, by Fisherman, out of Hose de Florence, by Flying Dutchman, out of Hoarding School Miss : Juliet is the Mother of Charon and Lamplighter, the winners for the last two seasons of all the two and three yrnr stakes in Victoria and Sydney, with the exception of Handicaps. " Derby " only started once for the FJomington Stakes Ist January, 1860, when he fell (stopping his racing career,) while running well up with the leading horse, lie is a handsome dark brown horac, rising 8 years old, and stands 15 hands 21 inches high. Good paddock* for mares from a distance, 2s per week, with every care and attention, but no responsibility. Terms : — Four Guineas each mare, Groomage 5s ; three (or more) mares as per agresment.
