This little township is gradually growing in. importance, real, and apparent. Mr Sloune lias erected a largo store near the Post Office, which is well stocked with cveiy requisite for settlers. It is a line; building and adds greatly to the appearance of the township. Mr lioehe's store, a little up the road looks all that a country store should, plenty of room to store goods, and plenty storal. The tuwn4 ship was recently surveyed by the Government, and several .sections have passed into prh ate hands. It is to be hoped that those Avho have purchased •« ill not leave them unoccupied. The pi ogress of settlement would justify the establishment of more business places even now, and the day is not very distant when Te Awmmitu will become one of the most important townships in the Waikato [ ' - ■ ' '~=—
