WANGANUI. Friday.
Mr Bryce, M.H.R., addressed his constituents last night. He defended Vogol, and said Wood would havo brought forward resolutiong for the abolition of the provinces if he had not. At the end of the meeeting a resolution was unanimously earned, "That this meeting has renewed confidence and reliance upon Mr Bryce, and believos that the abolition of provinces in the North Island will tend to greater freedom, economy, and efficiency in administration of the Government."
