His Sire was the far-famed Campsie, ddmitlcd by all breeders to bo tho purest Siro ever bred in Scotland. lie was a gieat prize-taker ; amongst the many prizes placed to his credit nuy bo mentioned tho Highland Society's First Prize at Kelao, 1572, in the agocl class.
