PARLIAMENTARY. A strong debate is going on about tho ManwatuRangitikei land claims against tho General Government by the province of Wellington. The Premier would not recognise that Wellington had the smallest claim upon tho colony. The Hon Mr Fox strongly opposed the claim as being " peace grasping avarice." Sir C. Wilson and Mr T. B. Gil!ie3 insisted that the House was bound in honor to meet tho claim, . Sir Donald.McLcan then adjourned the debate..
