AUCKLAND. Monday.

Mr Ellis, the Immigration Commissioner, has arranged to send 100 immigrants to the various Waikato settlements. The body of Arthur Hornsnail has been found in tho harbour. He was formerly a steward on board the Mikado. The Rev Buttles funeral was very largely attended. A special funeral service was hold in the Weslcyan Chapel. The charge of incendiarism against Alexander Brown, commenced in the Supreme Court, will be continued during the week. The evidence was similar to that in the Police Court. Arrived : Tower Hill, ship, from Wamambool, with-potatoea ; Jtifie, cutter, from llobart Town.
