Taurnnga, Saturday. A man wlio has been lost in the bush for three weeks has just been found. He lived during the time on toi roots and leaves. When found, though a big man. he was a moro skeleton, about the weight of a child four or five years old. His name is Gill, and formerly belonged to the 18th Eoyal Irish. Ha is recovering fast. The coming Highway Board elections are occupying public attention.
"New Plymouth, Saturday. Mr Parris is negotiating for another large block of nativo and, between 00,000 and 100,000 acses. The native chiefs say tho block will take two years to survey. Surveyors are much wanted here.
Wellington, Saturday. Z. Times is informed that, a son of Dr Buchanan has resigned his seat in the Legislative Council. Mr Cutten and Caplaiu Boyd, of the Colonial Bank, proceed North to-day.

Bluff, Saturday. A sharp shock of an earthquake, lasting several seconds, was felt ab 5.45 this morning. The direction appeared to be cast and west.
