Mr Yon der Hyde is a candidate for the representation of the Waitemata. The Kooparell'a passengers were landed to-day. A good number of the womou made their first rao\e towards the hotels. A number of native teachers have come forward for initiation into the Order of Good Templars. A native lodge will be established in Auckland.
