Buck land reports: At the Uaymarket on Friday last fodder iully maintained previous 'high values; best quality brought ?3 6d the cwt ; chaff, 5a and os 6d the lUOlb ; rye grass, 'As 3d the bushel ; riding home stock in low condition, £2 to £6 enth ; strong riding and light harness horecs, £lo to £27; unbroken colts, medium strength, £28 lo £35 each ; aged draught, £24 to £30. At Remuera on Thursday, dairy cows were fairly represented and in request. Store calves in moderate supply and at late values. More cattle in limited numbers. Fat cattle in full supply and of larger size than usual, 185 head sold, lust week's Talues weie sustained. Store sheep in moderate numbers, and slightly better worth. Fat sheep in usual supply, late prices freely given. Following were the'pricea obtained :— Dairy cows at calving, £6 10s to £11; dairy cows, 33s to 755; c lives, 18s to 30s; fat cattle, 27s 6d to 32s tii the 1001b; halt-bred ewes in low condition, 10s; each lambs, 8s to 7s 6J eac'i ; fat sheep, 3id the lb ; pigs numerous, and at lust week's prices.
