The salt held yesterday by Mr Alfred Buekland, at Cambridge, was very ful'.jr attended by purchasers ; the yards •were completely filled with atock, aud stead j competition was obtained throughout the sale. The stock were of good quality, aad of an age required m tbe district. The prices given for cattle were about 10s per head higher than those at present ruling near Auckland. The breeding ewes adrertised for private sale were also sold at prices varying from 13s 6d to 18s each ; rami, £2 10s to £3 each.
