Mr Alfred Eudtland reports :— At the Haymarket on Saturday last, fodder was in moderate supply and in good demand, at a slight advance over last Tallies, it brought 4s 6d to 6s the cwt. The heavy draught colta by "Pnnco Arthur" were freely bid for, and realised £67 and £59 respectively. Buggy, hcrse, and harness, £60. The grass land, 16s 6d per acre. Two-year-old colts and filliei, £17 to £30 etch ; aged draught, £11 to £22 10s ; riding horsea, £0 to £14 each. At Eemuera on Thursday, dairy cattle were indifferently represented, and m good demand. Store cattlo in moderate numbers, «nd fairly enquired for at late values. Prices given were — Dairy cows £5 10s to £9 ss ; drj cows, 30s £4 2s 6d ; calves, 16i to 27s j yearlings, 40s to 458 ; two to three-year-old hrifera, £3 to £3 10s ; fat cattle, 24s to 27s the lOOlbs ; merino wethera, 2£d the lb ; long woolled wether*, 4d the 1b ; ewes, 3Jd the lb ; lambs, 12s to 17s eaoh. Pigs plentiful, and slightly lower in value ; well-bred animals at 3d, coarse pigs, 2£d lb.
