NEW ZEALAND RAILWAYS. Waikato Railway. MERCER CONTRACT. Public Works Office, Wellington, Feb. 21, 1874. TENDERS will be received at this Office up to Noon on Friday, 10th April, 1874, for the above Contract,— the length, being about 10 mile*. They mu9t be addressed to the Hon. Minister for Public Works, Wellington, and marked outside, " Tender, Mercer Contract. " Plans And Specifications may be seen at this Office, and at the Public Works Offices, Auckkuid and Newcastle. Telegraphic Teudera similarly addressed aud maiked will be received if presented at any Telegraph Office by noon of the same date, provided that written tenders m due form arc lodged at a District or Resident Engineer's Office by the same hour. Educational Reserves. nnHE Board of Education invite Tender*, to be sent in on -*- or before noon of tbe 31st March iiuxt, from persons willing to lease at y of the Rural or Suburban Educational Reserves in the Pi ovince. The Board do not bind themselves to accept auy, or the highest tender. Teuders to state, in addition to the rent , the period for which a lease is desired. Period not to exceed 21 years.
