At Papakura, on Wednesday, cattle were penned in usual numbers but mostly of small size. There was ({ood competition throughout the sale Prices were higher thmn last month At ReiMnern, on Thursday, Terv few dany cows were m-iined, thow sold ut late Tallies, £7 to £9 each. A full market of store cattle, principally from one to twoyears old, met with a stituly demand ; since Inst week's ram there Ims been n b (tor demand for them. Fat cattle were in full supply, 160 heatl penned, but many of those were of indifferent quality ; prices were higher than last week, 2s 6d the 100 lbs, and langed from 28s to 30s the 100 lbs. Store • heep plentiful, but allow values. Vat sheep, very scwoe, and at high »aluerf, from 5d to s£d the lb. Pigi were also in much len.s than usual numbers, and at full ratei.
