XT IS HEEEBY NOTIFIED for public information that -*- all Licenses or Permits for the. cutting or removing of Timber from lands belonging to the Crown, in the Province of Auckland, heretofore issued, have expired ; and it is further notified that a Howard of Twenty Pounds (£2O) will be given to any one affording such inclination as will lead to the conviction of any person or persons so cutting or removing Timber as aforesaid without authority after this date. Educational Reserves. riIHE Board of Education invite Tenders to be sent in on -*- or before noon of the 31st March next, from persons willing to lease ar.y of the Rural or Suburban Educational Reserves in the Pi ovince. The Board do not bind themselves to accept any, or the highest tender. Tenders to state, in addition to the rent, the period for which a lease is desired. Period not to exceed 21 years. FTIENDEES will be received at the Office of the Agent -*- General Government, Cambridge, until noon on Friday, the 20th March next, for the supply and delivery at such places on the line as may be directed by the District Engineer of Sixty Thousand (00,000) Railway Sleepers for the Waikato Extension Railway. The Tenders must be addressed to the Agent General Government, Cambridge, and marked "Tender for Sleepers, Waikato Extension Railway." Specifications, General Conditions, and Form of Tender may be seen at the Public Works Offices, at Newcastle and Auckland, and at the Offico of the Agent General Government, at Cambridge. To afford facilities to small contractors, tenders for any quantity not less than one thousand (1,000) will be received. Arrangements can bo made for cutting timber in forests Dwned by the Government, for particulars of which application must be made at the Office Agent General Government, at Cambridge.
