Tenders addressed to the Hon. the Minister for Public Works, and marked outside "Tender for Post and TeleOffice, Newcastle," will be received at the Office of the undersigned up to noon of Friday, the 20th day of March, 1874. Telegraphic Tenders will be received — provided the original Tender and Deposit are lodged with the nearest District Engineer— at the time specified above. New Zealand Railways. WAIKATO EXTENSION RAILWAY. SLEEPERS. Office Agent General Government, Cambridge, 55th Feb. 1874. rriENDERS will be received at the Office of the Agent •*- General Government, Cambridge, until noon on Friday, the 20th March next, for the supply and delivery at such places on the line as may be directed by the District Engineer of Sixty Thousand (60,000) Railway Sleepers for the Waikato Extension Railway. The Tenders must be addressed to the Agent General Government, Cambridge, and marked "Tender for Sleepers, Waikato Extension Railway." Specifications, General Conditions, and Form of Tender may be seen at the Public Works Offices, at Newcastle and Auckland, and at the Office of the Agent General Government, at Cambridge. To afford facilities to small contractors, tendew for any quantity not less than one thousand (1,000) will be received. Arrangements can be made for cutting timber in forests owned by the Government, for particulars of which application must bo made at the Office Agent General Government, at Cambridge.
