TERMS OF PAYMENT.
Oire-Tourth of the purchase money in cash onthe fall of the hammer ; the remainder at or before the expiration of three calendar months from the da} of sale, to be |njidat the office of the Officer in Charge of Confiscated Lands, Patea. By clause 18 of the Confiscated Land Regulations, in the event of tbe second pajment not being made as aforesaid, the sale will bo void and the deposit forfeilod. The Rural Sections in the Patea Diatriot include portion of the Railway Reserve, which 13 a strip of country situated in the heart of tho settlement, extending from Patea to Waingongoro and Ketemare. 'JJhexe serve is traversed by an excellent metalled road, and bridges have 'b.een erected, or are in course of construction, where necessary, on the whole line from Wanganui to New Plymouth. ' Tbe surveyed line of railway runs parallel with and in some places through the reserve. The settlement of the district , has progressed rapidly during the last few months,, and" the sections now offered comprise nearly all available land* at the disposal of Government he; wee. 1 tho edge of the busb and the win coast. A few busb sections are aW ojJ'ered for sale, affording an opportunity to bottlers in the open lands to obtain timber for fencing and other purposes.
