Sm, — A verbal error ha? crept into your report of my speech at the official declaration of tho poll for the district of Wuipa. lam made to say, " I told you when I addressed you before you should return the best man, I think you have done so." What I did Bay was, "I nsked you to let the best man win, and I hope your choice will shew that you have done so." If you will kindly insert thia letter, you will oblige your obedient servant, Henet Bteon.
