The first took place on the 24th ultimo, when 505 caseb und 27 bugs were offered, of which two-tlnrdi consuted of old imports, which were chiefly withdrawn. The total »ales made embraced about 850 eases, ordinary soft dark «orts fetching 2U 6d to 27i fid; middling to good, middling (-craped kinds, 31s to 35s Cd; good clean tcraped gum, 40s 6d to 48s; and chips, 18« per cut. The second auction was held yesterday, when 197 eases were oata'ogued and all withdrawn above market \ alue.
